COVID-19 or Corona virus has shown us how to work at home!

The pandemic has been successful in altering our lives and the way we approach living forever. These are a few subtle changes we have made. Some of them are for the better but I’ll let you decide.

  1. We have become more health conscious ( cleansiness is next to Godliness)
  2. We have altered the way we worship
  3. We stay home more (families become closer)
  4. Eating habits change (take out like Chinese, Pizza & other fast foods thrive )
  5. Sit down dining suffered due to closures
  6. The way we communicate with each other has changed ( Zoom etc)

7. Large outdoor events have either been cancelled or postponed

8. The way we shop has changed ( Amazon, EBay , Dropshipping )

The list goes on and on…..

Many may ask, what does Lifestyle have to do with health?

The answer is…. EVERYTHING!

All the above events ( 1 to 8 ) require so form of exercise and I know that you are familiar with the old cliché , ‘ you don’t use it , you lose it ”

One of the biggest issues confronting us today is weigh loss. This niche has balloon into something of enormous proportions.(

Exercise, pill taking to special diets have become the norm.

Gyms, special trainers and subscriptions are on the rise. The main result here is that by exercise (be it jogging or lifting), you find that you are replacing body fat with water. It is true that at the end of the exercise (excuse the pun), you will be more healthy and toned but you have defeated the purpose. Rather than lose weight, it would appear that you have gained. The body fat has been replaced with muscle. The bathroom scale and mirror tell no tales. You still can’t fit that high school dress that you envision.

From pre packaged food, meal plans to recipes, the market is flooded with ‘ snake ‘ oil vendors. In many cases the sugars in food has been substituted with aspartame ( the swap of one side affect for another )

It is true that Diets come and go but some stay the course. The primary reason for this is that they work. Others become household words due to savvy marketing. Some become household words due to constant mention while some become popular due to a ‘low’ price tag.

I found a diet that has all the above features and more. A balanced meal is important and if you are a calorie counter like me, numbers and proper nutrition are #1.

What is a diet? As a noun:

  1. The kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats.”a vegetarian diet” Similar eat vegetable base foods:
  2. A special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for medical reasons. “I’m going on a diet” Similar several diets exist.

As a verb:

  1. To restrict oneself to small amounts or special kinds of food in order to lose weight

I found a diet that while monitoring your calorie intake allows you to enjoy most of the food you like and eating them without guilt.

With this diet you don’t need to cheat. The food is tasty with regular portions. The secret lies in it’s meal composition and offers a full balance.

A water diet it is not!

A salt free diet it is not!

What it is, is your answer to weight lost. All you will need to figure out next is how to tighten that extra skin that is generated from all that fat lost.
